I want this blog to be a place you want to come to for information that you want. I’ve been racking my mind for a month and a half for a worth while topic for the month of May. I feel like I have failed. Any idea I had just wasn’t good enough.
Then I had a thought! Why don’t I just ask my readers what they want to know.
So… What do you want me to write about next?
Are you interested in sunscreen? Maybe more about my life? How I take care of TWINS? Best ways to get your face ready for summer? Or maybe the best plants for your home? Whatever you want to know I want to find an answer for you.
Let’s hear your questions!!
I’m currently thinking about fluoride and its impact on my daughter’s health. We are on well water and don’t have fluoride in our water naturally. I hear other “crunchy” moms talking about not having any fluoride in their toothpaste and such… but then my dentist talks about how we need fluoride or our teeth may really suffer. There has to be a happy medium. Avoiding or limiting “toxins” can be a heavy load to bare and quite frankly overwhelming to even think about! How do you weigh these controversial and heavy topics in your home?
Great point! That’s a tough one. Having kids brought a bunch of “toxins” into my home that I didn’t even know were a thing. So far the way I’ve been handling this topic is with a little bit of gut, some research, and an understanding of what I’m willing to do. We could all do research forever and never really get very far because lets me honest you can find research to support which ever side you’re on. And I fully believe that a mothers gut is a magical thing. 🙂 Then there’s the willingness, are you prepared to prep every last ounce of food (or whatever the thing is) your kids eat to avoid processed. If yes, than HECK YES!!! If not don’t beat yourself up. You’ve got to do the best for your family. Because even limiting a quarter of the toxins is better than none.
